If something went wrong, tell us. Substancepolicy Remodeling wants every homeowner treated fairly and honestly. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.
You can write to us about:
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own quotes, contracts, prices, work, and customer service. With a remodeling problem, start with the provider. Raise it directly. Keep a written record of what was said.

One limit: Substancepolicy Remodeling cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or act for a provider.

We will confirm by email that your complaint arrived. This usually takes a few business days. Then we will look into it. That may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will tell you what we found and any steps we are taking.
Reply and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state consumer protection office or attorney general. Your local Better Business Bureau is another option. For a problem with a contractor, a state or local contractor licensing board may help too.
